A Taste Sensation In A Flower

By Julie Jones

Fire garden, jasmine heart, lily basket or black pearl. Yes you would be forgiven if you thought that those were crystals or minerals from some exotic country. The only thing you would have right, is the exotic country namely; China. These exquisite names belong to a green tea and flower combination which is gently wrapped together, producing Blooming tea.

What a strange combination you might think a blooming tea in a tea pot. But not for the Chinese. They have come up with the most amazing tea sensation that really is a marvel to see. Gently pour some boiling water in glass teapot, let is sit for a while and see how your favorite bloom comes to life. The taste buds are then gently soothed with a healthy tea combined with an aromatic flower.

Of course many teetotalers will argue that you cannot drink tea with flowers, but you can say to them that many flowers are not only edible, but are known to heal thousands of human ailments too. That is why green tea, with it's antioxidants, is so useful to us. It not only soothes away headaches, it will also untie the stress knots we love to carry around our stomachs.

When you receive your treasured cargo, notice how professionally your tea has been packed. The method is a closely guarded secret of course, but look at how each flower parcel was gently wrapped with top quality green tea leaves. The parcel was gently enclosed with cotton cloth and dried just in time for your shipment. No one shape will be the same as every flower and tea combination is unique.

Drinking this magnificent combination, is simple and requires only boiled water from a separate container, and being gently poured over the precious parcel of tea art. Wait only a few minutes or until you see a gorgeous flower waking up and blooming in front of your eyes. It's amazing to watch and even more amazing is the wonderful taste sensation you will experience. You will want to organize a garden party very soon, to show off your newly acquired flowering tea.

Many manufactures today are creating beautiful works of art when it comes to teapots, so much so that you would be forgiven if you start your own collection. But having said that, your tea art will be arriving with its own hand blown glass pot which is in the original handle-over-pot style or the more classic style with the handle on the side of the pot.

Strainers are installed in their sprouts, so you need not worry about swallowing a tea leaf or two - although they are perfectly safe to swallow.

Of course you must take it to work and show off your new blooming tea to your colleagues. They will definitely want to taste some, so bring an extra flower parcel along. Sip your green tea all day long, just by topping up the bloom with hot water. It will be inevitable that those who won't put their lips to tea, will soon congregate at your desk to savor a sip or two. Who knows there might be a teetotaler or two in the making. - 30241
